1. Eligibility
The 1K Kitchen Upgrade Giveaway (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of WC Media, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
2. Agreement to Rules
By entering, you agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules. You represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of WC Media as final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
3. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins on July 1, 2025 at 12:00 AM Eastern Time and ends on June 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period to be eligible.
4. How to Enter and Variations
To enter, complete the online entry form available through any authorized sweepstakes landing page or promotional variation (each, a “Variation”). Each Variation may appear under a different title or creative treatment—e.g., “1K Kitchen Upgrade Giveaway,” “$1000 Home Boost,” or similar—but all Variations provide entry into the same Sweepstakes, prize, and eligibility period governed by these Official Rules.
Limit one (1) entry per person per Variation for the entire Sweepstakes Period. Each entry must be submitted using a valid email address and fulfill all required fields to be eligible. Use of multiple email addresses, identities, or automated methods to obtain more than the stated number of entries per Variation is prohibited. Incomplete or non-compliant entries may be disqualified at WC Media’s sole discretion.
Representations / Conflicts. Creative names, headlines, or short-form promotional descriptions used in any Variation are for marketing convenience only and do not alter the prize, odds, eligibility, or other material terms set forth in these Official Rules. In the event of any inconsistency between a Variation and these Official Rules, these Official Rules control.
5. Prize
One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded: a $1,000 USD cash payment (the “Prize”). The Prize will be awarded in the form of a check or digital payment method selected by WC Media. No substitution or transfer of the Prize is permitted except at the sole discretion of WC Media. All federal, state, and local taxes and other expenses not specified herein are the sole responsibility of the winner.
6. Odds of Winning
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
7. Winner Selection and Notification
The winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted by WC Media within five (5) business days following the end of the Sweepstakes Period. The potential winner will be notified by email using the address provided in the entry form. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the Prize within ten (10) days of notification, or fails to timely return required documentation, the Prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.
Acceptance of the Prize constitutes permission for WC Media to use the winner’s name, likeness, and entry for promotional and advertising purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
8. Rights Granted by Entrants
By entering, you grant WC Media and its designees the right, where permitted by law, to use your name, likeness, voice, biographical information, and any submitted content for purposes of advertising, trade, publicity, and promotional purposes without additional compensation, permission, or notification.
9. Terms and Conditions
WC Media reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if any fraud, technical failures, human error, or other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by WC Media in its sole discretion. WC Media also reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or violates these Official Rules.
Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may violate criminal and civil laws. WC Media reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Marketing & Sharing Consent. By entering, you consent to receive marketing communications from WC Media and its marketing partners, and agree that WC Media may share your information with third parties for promotional purposes, as described in the Privacy Policy. You may opt out of our emails at any time via the unsubscribe link.
10. Limitation of Liability
By participating, you agree to release and hold harmless WC Media, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with the Sweepstakes or the use, misuse, or possession of the Prize.
WC Media is not responsible for: (i) technical failures of any kind; (ii) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process; (iii) electronic or human error in the administration of the Sweepstakes; or (iv) lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries.
11. Disputes
This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. As a condition of participating, entrants agree that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware.
Under no circumstances will entrants be permitted to obtain awards for punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, and any recovery shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred in entering the Sweepstakes.
